Layla's Table Gather Circle is so delighted to offer this beautiful & sacred Cha Dao, tea ceremony, to honor the incoming Autum Season.
We are thrilled to be joined by Kristal Hill who will lead us through the silent & meditative ceremony.
Tea Ceremony
It is said that tea puts you in harmony with the natural world and all that is.
Cha Dao, or the Way of Tea, is an ancient practice that has been passed down through the ages. Tea was first used as a plant spirit medicine by Shamans and Daoists to open the heart, focus the mind, and lift the spirit in deep meditation. It is known as a Shen or Spirit tonic and has been called the emperor of all medicinal herbs.
When we gather and drink bowls together in ceremonial silence, we work with the elements as the energy of tea opens us up to…
