About the event
Thanksgiving is around the corner, so it's time to get creative in the kitchen and generous with the result.
Layla of Honey Hollow Farm is partnering with Kristina Gibb Photography for this once-in-a-blue-moon youth class opportunity that will combine the art of cooking (baking) and food photography together.
What will we be baking? Piecaken.
What is Pikecaken?
It consists of 3 layers of pie, traditionally a pumpkin pie, pecan pie and spice cake cut and stacked together, then finished with cinnamon frosting, oat crumble and apple pie filling. Its creator, Chef Zac Young, has come up with other variations of the dessert that are featured in Bake Magazine.
The class participants will get to choose their favorite cake & pie flavor profiles and be split into groups accordingly.
