About the event
Stories are intertwined in every aspect of our lives. Sharing them is an elemental part of being human. The act of connecting this way reminds us that we are part of something bigger than ourselves, something ancient and enduring.
In this writing workshop , through the art of the monologue, led by playwright Carey Crim, we will discover, learn to tap into, embrace and trust our unique and authentic voices. A monologue is, after all, simply one character or soul trying to communicate its truth with another. It can be fact or fiction, whether you are writing something true to life or a fiction that illuminates life's truths. It may or may not be autobiographical, but it will always be personal.
What The Workshop Will Entail:
